We Will Never Forget

Every year on this day, we remember and honor the victims who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. We also remember the heroes who risked their lives to save others. They are the true definition of courage and strength.

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. I was sitting at my desk at work when my boss came rushing in, looking pale and shaken. He turned on the television and we all watched, horrified, as the events unfolded.

September 11, and it’s a day that will always be remembered. For those of us who lived through it, it’s a reminder of how fragile life can be and how important it is to cherish every moment. We must never forget what happened on September 11th, 2001 – and we will never forget the brave men and women who lost their lives that day.

In shadows cast by towers tall and grand,

An eerie silence falls upon the land.

Where once was life, now echoes grief and pain,

The spirits crushed by acts of dark disdain.

Through smoke and tears, we search for hope’s embrace,

But sorrow lingers in this hollow space.
